HBV: HBF-0259 is Enantigen’s lead anti HBV candidate. This proprietary compound is a non-nucleoside analog that was recently identified to selectively inhibit HBsAg secretion. Unlike currently used HBV antiviral drugs, HBF-0259 is not an inhibitor of the polymerase, suggesting that it maybe useful in cases where resistance has emerged.
